When one thinks of France, and all that it has to offer, romance is sure to be one of the first things that pops into their minds.  As a beautiful country, France has a little bit of everything, and definitely seems to attract love.

The main city in France that attracts lovebirds is definitely Paris.  With its beautiful architecture, stunning scenery, cosmopolitan lifestyle, plentiful outdoor bistros and eateries, and of course, the Eiffel Tower, Paris is one of the most spectacular cities of the world.

For whatever reasons that they may have, those in love seem to flock to Paris almost religiously.  Perhaps its the view from the Eiffel Tower while standing next to a loved one, or the intimate French restaurants that line the avenues that attract so many people who are in love; for whatever reason people adore the city of Paris when they want a romantic escape.

It amazing to take a look at romantic movies from the last 50 years or so, and see how many of them took place in Paris.  This city of love has it’s calling, and like the Sirens of ancient Greece, Paris calls out to those in love as they seek out a city that is as beautiful as love itself.

Yes, you read that right! I still can?t believe it myself. Though it won?t be for a few months, we are so excited that we are able to travel to such a great place after we get married. I almost thought that we were not going to be able to even go on a honeymoon because we are spending so much money on the wedding. I never realized how much time, money and planning went into having a wedding.

But the thought of not having a honeymoon didn?t sit well with us. So we made a few adjustments to the wedding and now we can go to France after all! It took me some time to realize that although having a wedding is important, I didn?t need to break the bank do it. Now that all of the wedding planning is done, I need to start planning out the honeymoon in France.

Since I have never been there, I don?t know where to stay or what sites to see while we are there. I have a few friends who have been to France, so I hope they can help us decide whether or not we should stay in Paris while we are there, or to visit another area of the country. We will only be able to stay for a week, so I want to be sure that we don?t waste it. I am sure that no matter where we stay, it will be an unforgettable week in France with my new husband!

Will was laid back on the couch his massive, encased leg suspended on a mountain of pillows. Hillary had told him to not leave the bunny slopes but he was always quite stubborn. Some call it a flaw. Not Will. Those guys probably shouldn’t have laughed when he fell on the bunny slope, that didn’t help. But, then again neither did taking the ski lift to the top of Death Mountain.

Now here he was; at home, alone. His girlfriend, Hillary, had been great through it all. She had only rubbed it in three or four times. Of course, Will didn’t blame her. No one can resist a well deserved ?I told you so.?

Will leaned forward and grabbed his silver laptop from the coffee table. It had become like another appendage since he had snapped his leg like a cheetoh. He pressed the power button in and watched as the windows logo flashed across the screen.

It had been the better part of week since the accident. And, he was one day in when he swore he was going to go insane with boredom. His friend Stephen had visited and was ragging on him for wiping so hard on Mount Death. And, much to Will’s dismay, he had the camera footage to prove it. But, they eventually fell on the subject of the intense boredom that would plague Will for the weeks to come.

New Bans Placed on the Use of E-Cigarettes

Wow, here we thought that smokers finally had the ultimate solution to smoking bans. Not so, my friends. There are many places in Paris and around the world where vaping (using electronic cigarettes) is specifically prohibited. As so commonly happens in this day and age, Law lags behind Technology; e-cigs are finding themselves in a legal gray area.

The legalities surrounding the use of e-cigs may well be determined in Paris by the board for health research. In the United States, the legal issues are mandated by the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA has actually attempted to have e-cigs treated as a device for delivering drugs as opposed to being a simple tobacco product. The FDA lost that court case; the implication being that e-cigs are merely a tobacco product which are less deadly than tobacco in any electronic cigarette comparison study ever conducted.

The ramification of any legal rulings pertaining to e-cigs has a far reaching effect. The use of electronic cigarettes has skyrocketed to millions of users globally, amazing when you consider that they only came to market in 2002 (2006 in the U.S.). While the ALA admits that when you buy electronic cigarettes, the product contains far fewer harmful chemicals and that nicotine is ?safe? in various other smokeless formats like gum or patches, the ALA insists on demanding e-cig use be regulated like traditional cigarettes. Furthermore, numerous studies show that without tobacco?s smoke, nicotine is comparable to caffeine and comparably harmless. This leaves you wondering if the ALA is more concerned with the health of our lungs or do they have tunnel vision when it comes to nicotine addiction?

Some places have opted to ban the sale of e cig starter kit supplies. E-cigs may be banned by establishments such as restaurants and movie theaters in states that allow sales of e-cigs. In cases such as this, try educating the owners/managers. E-cig prohibition is often the result of misunderstanding.
